Selecting holiday photo cards
How do you find the perfect holiday photo card out of almost a thousand styles? Shutterfly has just about that many holiday cards to choose from. And if you search specifically for Christmas cards as I did, there are even more.
For me, it’s all about the fold.
I need a card that folds.
Otherwise, it’s not a card. It’s just a fancy photo that I can’t prop up on my entryway table for display! Gah!
Sorry. Anyway….
Last year after Christmas, I bought some boxes of Christmas cards that were discounted, thinking, “I’ll just stick a photo of the kids inside and be done with it.” But the variety of designs at Shutterfly has be rethinking that….
Like the tropical card up top, or this one that would let me share a year’s worth of (judiciously edited) photos of our family:
But this card is calling to me because it has a fun design, the perfect number of photos on the front (one for each son and one for our whole family) — and it opens!
Then after the holidays, it’s nice to have some thank you notes to send out in appreciation of gifts. (Oh, I totally need to be better about sending thank you notes in a timely manner!)
Do you like to send photo cards?

Shutterfly offered me 25 free photo cards to write about its designs. Opinions and silliness are my own.

Nice selection! One of my friends sent the best card using shutterfly last year. I ♥LOVED♥ it!
